The Carnegie Science Center was opened in October of 1991. It cost $40 million to build. It boasts the world's largest permanent robotics exhibit as well as many other interactives exhibits spread out across four floors. It also is home to the Rangos Omnimax Theater, which features the largest projection movie screen in Pittsburgh.
