Heinz Field is the home of both the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Pitt Panthers football teams since its completion in 2001. It has a capacity of 68,400 with 129 executive suites. It cost $281 million to construct.
In 2011 the stadium hosted the NHL Winter Classic. It also occasionally hosts concerts and other events, and was the site of Pitt's recent victory over PSU. The attendance at that game was the highest in Pittsburgh sports history at 69,983 people.
